- To each of the databases except Styles, a new 'Cloning' button has been
added. This will allow you to copy an existing entry exactly and insert it in
the database, so that you may modify some elements easily to obtain a new
unique entry. You will receive a warning for each clone notifying you of
possible problems if a cloned entry is not changed in some regard to become a
unique entry.
Along with this, inventory functionality has been tightened on Malt, Hops,
Extra and Yeast entries. For malt, the malt's gravity and color is now taken
into account, for extra's the Type os now taken into account (the name can be
the same), for yeast the package type and ferment type is now taken into
account (ie you could have the same yeast, 1 in dry form and 1 in liquid form).
Beware of subtleties that can cause in-accurate inventories. For instance, if
for some reason the inventory functions do not correctly report on some malts,
even though you have the malt name and origin in stock, the potential gravity
of the malt or color may be different, and therefore the inventory would
consider it a different malt.
- Micro brewers using the 'Pro' amounts setting would see oz and not lbs
in the stand-alone hop calculator, if the IBU amount was adjusted. This has
been corrected and the correct amount (lbs or kg) if now shown.
- Error in the system defaults, in that when entering and saving the Mash
Tun Thermal Mass, the entry would not be saved (unless the scroll arrows were
used). This bug had been fixed.
- When using the Stand-Alone water needed calculator, and switching to
Metric units, the grain/water ratio was not changed appropriately. This has
been fixed.
