New Features and Enhancements:
- Both recipes and brewing sessions now support Competition Form Printouts
and Competition Bottle Label printouts!
- Added The Generic Dilution Calculator. Actually 2 individual stand-alone
dilution calculators on one screen, the 'Wort Diluted With Water' and 'Wort
Diluted With Wort' calculator. These calculators should be very helpful to
no-sparge, party-gyle and general brewing alike. Use the 'Dilution' button from
the main screen or from the Main Menu, 'Calculators -> Dilution
Calculator'.
- Added The Generic Boil Off Calculator. Actually 2 individual stand-alone
calculators on one screen, the 'Wort Boild Off' and 'Evaporation Rate'
calculator. These calculators should be very helpful to determine boil-off
amounts to hit exact gravities and to help determine a systems actual
evaporation rate. Use the 'Boil Off' button from the main screen or from the
Main Menu, 'Calculators -> Boil Off Calculator'.
- On the main Brewing Session Screen, your actual Mash System Efficiency
is now displayed. The effeciency is based on the Actual OG you achieve and
enter in.
- There is a new setting in the System Settings dialog, that being for the
printed 'DATE' type in brewing sessions. You may now choose from 1 of 3 formats
that a brewing session printout will display dates, and how it will
auto-generate filenames based on the dates. The options are:
- MM-DD-YYYY
- YYYY-MM-DD
- DD-MMM-YYYY (International Format)
- Both the stand-alone CO2 carbonation calculator and the CO2 calculator
imbedded in a brewing session now support kilosPascal as well as Psi in
pressure ratings for forced carbonation.
- Added psi / kPa conversion entries in the Unit Converter.
- Recipes and Brewing session printouts will now have the Recipe or
Session Name as the main Header (as opposed to the ProMash banner
previously), repeating on each subsequent page.
UI Modification:
- Two New Buttons added to the main screen, 1 for the new Boil Off
calculator and 1 for the new Dilution calculator.
- The Calculator options within the Calculator Menu have been re-orginized
alphabetically.
- Each Systems Settings dialog now has it's own Cancel functionality.
Bug Fixes:
- In previous versions, the pre-boil calculator was using the Batch size
only in determining values. This was fine for all grain brewers or extract
brewers who do full-wort boils, but left brewers doing concentrated boils in
the dark. This problem has now been corrected, and the pre-boil calculator now
works off the actual Wort size, or batch size if the wort size is disabled.
- An error in printing recipe and brewing session notes, which caused the
last character in the entry to not be printed(if not followed by a hard return
or a space) has been fixed.
- If you loaded a recipe, and that recipe had a complex mash
schedule attached, there was a possibility of errors in the mash infusion
amounts when printed, IF the mash screen was not viewed prior to printing. This
has been corrected. Note that this did NOT affect recipes that were
imbedded in a brewing session, only a stand-alone recipe.
