ProMash Tour - Brewing Sessions

So you've got a recipe formulated, your ready to brew, now what?

Once you are ready to brew an actual recipe, you create a new Brewing Session and import the recipe into the session. The Brewing Session is where some of ProMash's most powerful features can be found and is where you will record all of the details about the brew, from the mash to the bottle. Brewing Sessions are also where all of your system specifics come into play, and each session is relative only for the specific system.

The first section of a Brewing Session is the Main Session screen itself:

The Brewers information, Date of Brewing are entered, the recipe is imported using the "Pick Recipe" button, the Style Guidelines are displayed along with recorded and calculated actuals of the brewing session. Finally, a series of 10 buttons, each of which encompass a portion of the brewing process, from editing the ingredients to mashing to analyzing efficiency to taking notes, etc. Every separate window may be open simultaneously, and many windows will dynamically modify other windows (if open) when relevant changes are made (for instance, mash water infusion amounts in the Mash Section affect the values in the Water Needed section).

To see the details of each section within a Brewing Session, choose from one of the following options:

And of course, ProMash will allow you to have all of the individual session screens open at one time, allowing you to see an overview of every aspect of the session. As mentioned previously, many screens will dynamically modify other screens (if open) when relevant changes are made.

When it comes time to print the session, ProMash gives you the option to print every detail of the session or just those items you are interested in. You may also choose to export to HTML (webpage), text files or to the clipboard.
