ProMash Tour - Brewing Session, Water Profile

If the brewer has formulated a recipe with an intended water profile and you wish to duplicate that profile, you are going to need to adjust your water to match the desired profile. This is the were the imbedded water profiler comes into play. The Water Profiler within a Brewing Session is the same as the Stand-Alone Water Profiler, except that the actual profile being matched is extracted from the recipe. All you do is pick your water and match the profile (or come as close as possible). After you match the profile, you can then use the "Mash And Sparge Totals" button to see just how much of each item you will need for your mash and sparge water.
