I've been brewing since about 1991. For the first 3 or 4 years or so I
dabbled with many systems, going from extract to all grain, using Rubbermaid
coolers for mash tuns, plastic false bottoms, etc. etc. In 1994 I finished what
I considered to be my first "real" system and I used that system for
four solid years with little modification afterwards. In 1998 I modified the
system for a pump (no third teir) and use with my new no-sparge mash tun (rig
#2) and in 2000 I reworked the entire system and deemed it rig #3. Rig #3 is
what I brew to this date, although their have been some minor modification here
and there.
