The Weights

| The Float The shaft is marked with 10 main increments ranging from 0 to 10, with 4 side markers between each main marker, for a 0.2 accuracy between marks. Every mark is readable. The side of the top shaft is stamped with the Hydrometer's serial number stamp of 566. Click on either image to see a large, full detail picture.

The Flask The wort or liquor is poured into the flask, and the float placed in the flask to determine the specific gravity. The flask included in this kit is in excellent condition.
